Dr. Lawrence Fabrizio, DO, FACC

Dr. Lawrence Fabrizio is a native of New Jersey. He was raised in Maplewood and has been a resident of the state ever since. He attended Seton Hall Preparatory High School and Seton Hall University. He obtained his medical degree at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, where he graduated with honors in 1988. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at St. Barnabas Medical Center in 1992. He then went on to complete his Fellowship specializing in Cardiovascular Disease from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he served as the Chief Subspecialty Fellow in 1995. Finally, he completed training as an Interventional Cardiologist at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in 1996.

He has been in private practice since 1996 and is active in teaching Medical students, Interns, Residents and Cardiology Fellows. He has performed lectures for medical and non medical audiences and enjoys both the invasive and non invasive practices in cardiology.

He is currently a founding partner in Essex Cardiology Group. His practice consists of providing in depth Cardiac Consultations, office visits, a full array of outpatient cardiac testing, Hospital based critical care, Hemodynamic monitoring and other procedures, including Trans Esophageal Echocardiography, Electrical Cardioversion, and Diagnostic Cardiac Catherization.
